Sigrun decided to join Deepinsight because she finds the work deeply meaningful and aligned with what society needs.

“I’m inspired by Deepinsight's focus on achieving more with the resources we already have, which resonates with my passion for making a positive impact through innovation and design.”

Sigrun enjoys exploring Oslo with her kids on her longtail bike, from the fjord to the forests.

Riccardo, Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer, Riccardo doesn't consider himself a master of complexity, but rather prefers to be pragmatic and simplify whenever possible. He believes it’s important to reduce everyday friction so we can focus on what truly adds value for ourselves and our users.

Line Langeland, Medical Director

As Medical Director, Line will focus on leveraging her deep expertise in healthcare to ensure that the product we develop is sought after by healthcare professionals and creates value for both patients and hospital staff.

Line has worked as a physician for over 10 years, with the last six years at the ENT department at Haukeland University Hospital. She has also worked as a consultant and has experience with major transformation projects in the healthcare sector in the UK.

"I wanted to join Deepinsight because I believe there is great potential in streamlining administrative tasks in hospitals so that healthcare professionals can spend less time clicking on computers and more time treating patients."

In her free time, Line loves exploring good food and considers the opportunity to visit new restaurants and eateries to be the highlight of any vacation—such as here in the beautiful Fjærland.

Simon Hyenes, Senior UX Designer

As a designer at Deepinsight, Simon will help Deepinsight create great user experiences – both to ensure users will enjoy using the solution in the future and to make sure that changes made now will be well-received.

With a master's degree in interaction design from the University of Oslo, he gained insight into the health world when he wrote a master's thesis for the KULU project, which used inclusive design to support young patients with chronic illnesses. Before joining Deepinsight, Simon worked at Buypass and Cognite.

"The goal of using data and products to solve important problems in healthcare is incredibly exciting. Being able to get involved early, work closely with users, and collaborate with talented people creates a sense of unity that is inspiring."

In his free time, Simon is an avid reader and always has a book with him. He also enjoys making things – everything from baking and drawing to carpentry.

Chance Reichenberg, Senior Frontend Engineer

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, Chance  is particularly excited about creating intuitive and seamless interfaces that planners will truly enjoy using—interfaces that genuinely make their jobs easier and more efficient.

He graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from East Tennessee State University. After completing his education, he gained experience as a Software Engineer, working with several large corporations across the US. Eventually, he found motivation in the dynamic Norwegian startup scene, where he decided to focus his career.

“It was really a combination of aspects that drew my attention to Deepinsight. The drive and ambition I saw to improve healthcare and people's lives was really inspiring and resonated with my desire to bring some good into the world. That, combined with the warm welcome I felt from everyone working here, really solidified that this was the company I needed to be a part of”.

In his free time, Chance has a passion for photography and is always planning his next adventure.

Thomas Kongevold Adamcik, Principle Backend Engineer

As a Principle Backend Engineer in Deepinsight, Thomas is excited about working on the bigger picture, rather than just focusing on one small part of the company's operations.

Thomas studied Computer Science at NTNU in Trondheim, where he also gained valuable experience through volunteering and part-time IT work. After graduating, he moved to Switzerland and joined Google's Geo SRE team in 2011. During his time there, Thomas was responsible for maintaining the stability of Maps and related systems. He worked on writing tools, resolving performance and reliability issues, and even redefined how the team monitored the Maps APIs. After spending over a decade as an SRE, most of which he spent coding, Thomas transitioned into a Software Engineering role. In this new capacity, he led efforts to standardize and improve load balancing in Google's data centers, which helped optimize resources and enhance performance.

“To be honest I hadn't heard of Deepinsight before coming across this role. So what ended up sealing the deal for me, was the great impression everyone I spoke to made. Having a great team of talented people to work with is something I was looking for. Secondly, working on something that people value, where it is easy to see the good it is doing has always been important to me. Deepinsight's goal of making the health sector more efficient clearly lives up to this ideal.”

In his free time, Thomas is an avid cook and baker who enjoys making things from scratch. He also loves spending time with his family, playing board games, getting outdoors more, and running.
