Our software Deepinsight Hero has contributed to significant improvements in a short time at Lovisenberg Diakonale Hospital (LDS). After a only six months pilot period, LDS can report better OR utilization and shorter waiting lists. Dagens Medisin and MedWatch both published a case on the results obtained.(See links further down the article.)

The effect on waiting lists and patient treatment

The results speak for themselves: In the course of six months, the hospital has experienced one 26% increase in the number of operated patients, in 13.5% improvement in operating theatres, and one 18.5% reduction in waiting lists for patients waiting for ear-nose-throat day surgery and orthopedics around the clock. These are figures from about week 17 up to and including week 27, compared to the same period the previous year.

These results are a direct result of the collaboration between Deepinsight and LDS, and according to Henrik Hoffgaard, assistant clinic manager at LDS, the technology has helped to optimize operations in several areas.

"The collaboration with Deepinsight has produced noticeable results," says Hofgaard. "We are excited about what we can achieve when Deepinsight Hero is further developed," he continues.

Technology for a more efficient everyday life

One of the most valuable effects of Deepinsight Hero is the time savings the technology provides. Manual tasks related to surgery planning that previously took several days are now solved in a few hours. This has freed up valuable time for coordinators and other staff, who can now spend more time on patient-centred tasks instead of repetitive planning work.

This is not just a temporary improvement – Deepinsight Hero is designed to create enduring value in the health sector. By using an agile development methodology and working closely with users, Deepinsight ensures that the solution meets the actual needs of healthcare professionals.

Long-term technology development with concrete results

Deepinsight continues the development of the software in close collaboration with the users on both Lovisenberg Diakonale Hospital, Bærum Hospital, and Nordland Hospital. This will ensure that the technology continues to improve patient care and efficiency at Norwegian hospitals.

Part of a larger solution

Deepinsight aims to contribute to a sustainable healthcare system through smarter resource utilization and long-lasting solutions. The company looks forward to further developing the technology and continuing the good collaboration with Norwegian hospitals to create a better and more efficient healthcare.
